Return Policy

Returns, exchanges, and refunds.

At STLNerdHub, many of our items are handmade, custom-built, 3D printed, painted, or finished by hand. Because of that, our return policy is designed to be fair to customers while also protecting the time, materials, and work that goes into every piece.

Return Window

Returns and exchanges may be accepted within 30 days of delivery for eligible items only. Items must be unused, undamaged, and returned in their original condition.

Eligible Returns

Non-custom, non-personalized items may be eligible for return if they are unused, unaltered, and returned in the same condition they were received. Proof of purchase is required.

Final Sale Items

Custom orders, commissioned pieces, personalized items, made-to-order items, hand-painted items, modified pieces, and final sale products are not eligible for return or exchange.

Return Shipping

Buyers are responsible for all return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping method. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.

Condition Requirements

Items must be returned in original, resellable condition. If an item is returned damaged, used, altered, incomplete, or not in its original condition, the refund may be denied or reduced.

Refunds

Refunds are issued only after the returned item has been received and inspected. Approved refunds will be sent back to the original payment method. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. We will review the issue and determine whether a replacement, repair, or refund is appropriate.

How to Start a Return

  1. Contact us within 30 days of delivery.
  2. Include your order number and reason for the return.
  3. Wait for approval before shipping anything back.
  4. Ship the item back using secure packaging and tracking.

Unauthorized returns may be refused and returned to sender.

Policy Abuse

We reserve the right to deny returns, exchanges, refunds, or future orders in cases of return abuse, damaged returns, false claims, chargeback abuse, or attempts to bypass this policy.
